On Friday 9 March 2012, the UNESCO Ha Noi office in partnership with the national statistical agency of Viet Nam (GSO) are organizing a national workshop in Ha Noi to present the preliminary findings of the UNESCO Culture for Development Indicator Suite (CDIS).
This workshop will present to national decisionmakers, policymakers and researchers the first set of results obtained from the CDIS test phase in Viet Nam. Led by the GSO, the data collection so far has produced the first insights into how culture contributes to development in Viet Nam. The test phase is generating important discussions on how to maximize culture’s potential in future development strategies.
This workshop is taking place during the “Culture and Development” week coordinated by the UNESCO Ha Noi Office. For more information, please visit the event's website.
More information on the workshop, including the presentations will be available shortly on the CDIS webpage click on the picture below.
