Facebook helps find local stolen artwork

Be on the look out for a 3 foot by 6 foot painting of a young Elizabeth Taylor.

The painting was stolen sometime during the busiest bar weekend of the year, Thanksgiving weekend.

Barts in Bay City is asking its Facebook fans for help.

Penny Warner spokesperson for Barts said "We've gotten a couple of different leads that it was on Craig's List and then removed after I posted of the theft on our Facebook page."

The painting was hanging on consignment, so not only is the restaurant out the painting but the artist, too.

The one thing that Barts and the artist want more than ever is for Elizabeth to please come home.
