Speakers at a human chain alleged that some culprits stole artifacts from Mahasthangarh to destroy the culture and heritage of Bangladesh.
Bhikkhu Songho; Chittagong Historical Exercise (Etihas Charcha) centre; and Archaeological Photography Museum, Chittagong; jointly organised the human chain in front Chittagong Press Club yesterday.
Dr Jina Bodhi Bhikkhu, Prof Salil Bihari Barua and Prof Dr D K Ghos spoke at the programme.
Speakers thanked the government for arresting the administrative officer of Mahasthangarh, demanded exemplary punishment of all culprits.
