Possibility to set up a new infrastructure for the National Historical Archive
The Culture Minister, Rosa Cruz e Silva proposed on Monday in Havana city to Cuban government the drafting of a joint plan between Angola and Cuba by 2012, so as to recover and preserve the Angolan historical archives, as well as the training of staff.
The official said so while visiting the premises of Cuban Historical Archives.
The minister said that country is considering a possibility to set up a new infrastructure for the National Historical Archive, in which Angola expects to count on Cuban experience regarding data preservation.
During her visit, Rosa Cruz e Silva and Cuban officials discussed the possibility of sending to Angola local experts to analyse documents in the Angolan historical data institution.
The official believes that by 2012 many programmes will be implemented between the two countries.
