After the WO II was over and much heritage all over the world was destroyed people needed ideals and the will to change their future
The United Nations conference for the establishment of an educational, scientific and cultural organization, was held in London, in November 1945.
44 delegations were present when UNESCO Constitution was adopted.
This footage shows Ms Ellen Wilkinson, then British Minister of Education, as well as President of the General Conference, while she reads from UNESCO's newly adopted constitution.
